![]() ![]() ![]() Thank goodness for caller ID also from my service provider so that I can monitor incoming call information as well. But the amount of annoying calls literally has been greatly reduced. I have received a couple messages from sales folks that are not Robocallers. This leaves more time on my machine for real messages that I actually want to receive. After the tones, they hang up and do not keep the call going to the point where my answering machine basically records silence, and my message minutes get used up. So the result of all of this effort has eliminated calls on my machine that I actually need to erase. In addition to that, I recorded a new message on my answering machine, and delayed the beginning of the message by 3 or 4 seconds, to allow the robocall equipment time to disconnect, before my message begins. Robocall equipment, as described by the Telezapper literature will hangup/disconnect the call at that point. The Telezapper, when calls are answered, emits three tones which kind of sound to the caller, as if they have reached a wrong or disconnected number. The concept of it is targeted at Robocalls. It wasn't expensive, so if it doesn't work, it won't be a huge loss. ![]()
